Sharps Bros Gen 2 Livewire Forged Receiver

The Sharps Bros Gen 2 Livewire receiver is machined from a custom 7075-T6 aluminum forging rather than cast aluminum. Forged construction provides increased durability and density compared to standard cast receivers. The receiver dimensions are 2.30 inches by 4.35 inches by 8.75 inches, and the finished weight is 8.70 ounces. This receiver is compatible with any standard AR-15 upper assembly and supports multiple caliber platforms through the multi-caliber lower design.

Ambidextrous Bolt Release and Complete Lower Parts Kit

The ambidextrous bolt release allows shooters to operate the bolt catch from either side of the receiver without repositioning their grip. The kit includes a complete mil-spec lower parts kit with trigger assembly, hammer, disconnector, selector, magazine catch, and bolt catch components. A threaded bolt catch pin is included for secure installation. The pistol grip is included, and all internal components are mil-spec compatible.

Heavy Duty Pistol Buffer Tube System

The heavy duty pistol buffer tube is fixed in a non-adjustable position, designed specifically for AR-15 pistol builds. The kit includes a standard carbine buffer weighing 3 ounces and a USA-made standard AR-15 carbine recoil spring. The buffer tube is paired with a US Tactical mil-spec receiver end plate and AR-15 carbine castle nut. This configuration is compatible with AR-15 carbine buffer system standards.
