The 10-inch freefloat M-LOK handguard surrounds the barrel along the forend with a quad rail front section for accessory mounting near the muzzle end, front and rear QD sling mounts for versatile sling attachment, a slant front profile, and anti-rotation tabs for a secure fit at the upper receiver.

Bolt Group and Charging Handle

The dedicated .22 LR stainless steel bolt group is a purpose-built .22 LR unit specific to the .22 LR AR-15 platform, distinct from a standard 5.56 bolt carrier group. The lightweight K-baffle construction gives the Teardrop a purpose-built rimfire suppressor design that keeps weight and overall system length minimal on the 9-inch barrel. The Teardrop threads directly onto the 1-2x28 muzzle end of the barrel and is compatible with .22 LR, .17 HMR, and .22 Magnum, giving the builder a versatile rimfire suppressor that covers multiple rimfire chamberings beyond .22 LR.

Lower Completion Components

The complete Mil-Spec AR-15 lower parts kit covers the full internal lower component group, including the fire control group, magazine catch, bolt catch, and all associated pins and springs, with a Mil-Spec A2 grip included. The heavy-duty pistol buffer tube, standard carbine buffer at 3 oz., and standard AR-15 carbine recoil spring made in the USA form the buffer system at the rear of the lower, matched to the pistol platform. The Mil-Spec M16 receiver end plate and Mil-Spec AR-15 carbine castle nut lock the buffer tube down cleanly at the rear of the lower receiver. The Gauntlet Arms black polymer stabilizing brace fits over the pistol buffer tube and closes out the rear end of the build.
