Sharps Bros Gen 2 Livewire Receiver Design

The Sharps Bros Gen 2 Livewire receiver is machined from a custom 7075-T6 aluminum forging and finished in black anodize. The ambidextrous bolt release lever is positioned on both sides of the receiver, allowing you to charge and uncharge the rifle from your dominant or support hand without repositioning your grip. This design is particularly useful for transitional shooting or when operating in confined spaces. The receiver is multi-caliber compatible, meaning it will function with upper assemblies in 5.56 NATO, 300 Blackout, 6.5 Creedmoor, and other standard AR-15 calibers.

Complete Lower Parts Kit and Buffer System

This kit includes a full mil-spec lower parts kit with all internal components needed to complete the receiver. The fire control group, hammer, trigger, disconnector, selector, magazine catch, and bolt catch are all included. The buffer system consists of a mil-spec carbine buffer tube with six adjustable positions, a standard 3 oz carbine buffer, and a made-in-the-USA carbine recoil spring. The US Tactical end plate and AR-15 carbine castle nut complete the buffer tube assembly.

Magpul MOE Carbine Stock

The Magpul MOE carbine stock is constructed from reinforced polymer and finished in Flat Dark Earth. It attaches to the mil-spec carbine buffer tube using the six-position adjustment mechanism, allowing you to customize length of pull for your shooting position or body armor configuration. The stock features a sling loop for mounting a single-point or two-point sling. The MOE design is lightweight and durable, making it a reliable choice for both range and field use.
