This lower build kit is built around a Sharps Bros. Gen 2 Livewire stripped lower receiver, forged and CNC machined from a custom 7075-T6 aluminum forging and finished in black anodizing. The receiver features an ambidextrous bolt release and comes with a threaded bolt catch pin. A complete Mil-Spec AR-15 Lower Parts Kit, pistol grip, carbine buffer-system components, and a Mil-Spec enhanced adjustable stock round out the kit.

Lower Receiver

The receiver is a Sharps Bros. Gen 2 Livewire, forged and CNC machined from a custom 7075-T6 aluminum forging and finished in black anodizing. It's built as a multi-caliber, semi-automatic-only receiver featuring an ambidextrous bolt release, with a threaded bolt catch pin included for installation. The receiver weighs 8.70 ounces and measures 2.30 by 4.35 by 8.75 inches.

Lower Parts Kit and Buffer System

A complete Mil-Spec AR-15 Lower Parts Kit covers the fire-control group and the rest of the internals needed to complete the lower, and a pistol grip is included as part of the kit. Behind it sits a Mil-Spec heavy-duty six-position buffer tube, holding a standard carbine buffer weighing 3 ounces and a standard USA-made recoil spring. A US Tactical AR-15/M16 Mil-Spec receiver end plate and AR-15 carbine castle nut secure the buffer tube assembly to the receiver.

Stock

Capping off the build is a Mil-Spec enhanced adjustable stock, molded with a polymer body and finished in black. It's built for a Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube, matching the buffer tube included with this kit, and features an adjustable polymer cheek riser along with a rubberized recoil pad.
