Lower Receiver

The Crusader STLS022 is machined from aluminum and finished in hard coat black anodizing, carrying a multi-caliber marking along with the Crusader shield and cross logo in the magazine well. Its selector carries dual-language markings, reading "PAX PACIS," "BELLUM," and "DEUS VULT" on one side and "PEACE," "WAR," and "GOD WILLS IT" on the opposite side, and it weighs 0.75 pounds. It's built to standard AR-15 pattern magazine, fire control, buffer system, and grip compatibility.

Lower Parts Kit

The included Davidson Defense Lower Parts Kit is a complete, 31-piece mil-spec set covering the full fire control group, including a standard curved mil-spec trigger, mil-spec hammer, disconnector, and mil-spec safety selector, along with the trigger guard, magazine catch assembly and release button, bolt catch assembly, pivot pin, takedown pin, buffer retainer, and the full set of detents and springs. Its components are built from a mix of steel, aluminum, and polymer, finished in Phosphate and anodized coatings. A mil-spec A2 pistol grip in black is included with its grip screw and washer.

Buffer System

The buffer tube is a Davidson Defense heavy-duty, 6-position mil-spec diameter carbine receiver extension machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in Type II anodizing, measuring 7.15 inches long with a 1.145-inch outer diameter, a 1-inch inner diameter, and a weight of 3.8 ounces. It's paired with a 3-ounce standard AR-15 carbine recoil buffer built with a 6061 aluminum body, steel internal weights, and a polymer impact pad, along with a USA-made standard AR-15 carbine recoil spring. A Davidson Defense mil-spec castle nut in black and a US Tactical mil-spec receiver end plate complete the receiver extension hardware.

Stock

The included stock follows a traditional M4 carbine profile, molded from lightweight, reinforced polymer in matte black with a molded upper cheek-weld surface. Length of pull adjusts across 6 positions using a spring-loaded adjustment lever, with the pull length depending on where the stock locks onto the buffer tube. A molded, textured rear buttplate caps the stock, and it installs by sliding directly onto the mil-spec carbine buffer tube included in this kit, with an integrated rear sling loop for sling attachment.
