The Batwing-S is a fully ambidextrous charging handle precision machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized black finish, featuring standard profile latches on both sides and a gas defeating design. The Delta Team Tactical full nickel boron bolt carrier group is a direct impingement design finished in full nickel boron across the carrier, bolt, and extractor, with an M16 full-auto profile carrier, a Mil-Spec gas key with properly staked screws, fully machined forward assist serrations, and standard cotter pin firing pin retention. Compatible with 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, .300 Blackout, and .350 Legend, and fits standard Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers.

That smoothness reduces metal-on-metal friction between the bolt carrier and the upper receiver interior on every cycling event, producing a noticeably smoother cycling feel compared to a standard phosphate or nitride BCG. The full coverage across the carrier, bolt, and extractor means every surface that moves, contacts another part, or accumulates carbon receives the same low-friction treatment. Carbon fouling bonds more aggressively to rough or porous surfaces than to smooth ones, and the dense nickel boron coating creates a surface that carbon has difficulty adhering to, meaning fouling wipes away more easily during cleaning with less solvent and mechanical effort.
