Batwing-S Charging Handle

Standard profile latches on both sides of the charging handle body provide equal latch access for left and right-hand operation. Standard charging handles offer a single small latch on the left side only, making right-hand manipulation awkward and limiting overall control during charging strokes. The Batwing-S corrects this by placing a standard profile latch on both sides, keeping the overall footprint slim and snag-free while delivering full ambidextrous function. The gas defeating design uses a sealed channel geometry that redirects gas away from the shooter rather than allowing it to vent rearward through the charging handle channel, making the Batwing-S a practical choice for suppressed builds where gas blowback is a concern.

Davidson Defense Dedicated .22 LR Stainless Steel Bolt Group

The Davidson Defense dedicated .22 LR bolt group is built entirely from stainless steel with a natural stainless silver finish across the bolt head and body. The stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance without requiring an additional surface coating, and is well suited to the rimfire environment where lead fouling and rimfire-specific residue from .22 LR ammunition can be more aggressive than centerfire fouling on standard finishes. The dedicated rimfire design uses a blowback operating system, where the bolt cycles from the energy of the cartridge case pressure alone rather than a gas tube and port system. This is the correct operating system for a dedicated .22 LR AR-15 platform and requires a dedicated .22 LR barrel to function correctly. A standard centerfire AR-15 barrel is not compatible with this bolt group. Forward assist machining is not present, which is standard for dedicated rimfire bolt groups where the carrier geometry does not support forward assist engagement.
