Sharps Bros Gen 2 Livewire Receiver

The Sharps Bros Gen 2 Livewire uses a forged 7075-T6 aluminum receiver, CNC machined from a custom forging. This construction method creates a durable, lightweight platform that's compatible across multiple AR-15 calibers. The receiver weighs 8.70 ounces and measures 2.30 by 4.35 by 8.75 inches. The black anodized finish resists corrosion and wear during regular use and maintenance.

Ambidextrous Bolt Release Control

The ambidextrous bolt release allows you to lock the bolt back from either side of the lower receiver. This design benefits left-handed shooters and those who switch shooting positions. The included threaded bolt catch pin integrates securely into the receiver, and the bolt release mechanism operates smoothly without additional tools or modifications.

Complete Carbine Buffer System

This kit includes a mil-spec carbine buffer tube, standard carbine buffer, and USA-made carbine recoil spring. The buffer tube features 6 positions for adjusting length of pull, and the included collapsible carbine stock mounts directly to the tube. The entire buffer system is compatible with standard mil-spec AR-15 platforms and allows you to dial in your preferred stock position for different shooting scenarios or body armor configurations.
