This week we stray from our full auto submachine gun formula to talk about a cool piece of American firearm history. The trapdoor rifle was the stepping stone from muzzle-loading muskets to what would become much more modernized actions and weapon systems. These guns are a great time to shoot, and a great look at how we arrived at some of the guns that we know and love today.
